Madagascar 3 centers on Alex (Stiller), Marty (Rock), Melman (Schwimmer) and Gloria (Smith) as they attempt to go home to NY from Europe without attracting the attention of the police (led by McDormand). They're of course joined by several of their friends, including King Julien (Sacha Baron Cohen), Maurice (Cedric the Entertainer) and the Penguins. "These pillows are filled with baby birds!," exclaims one of the penguins in a Monte Carlo hotel room. And has the gang taking part in a circus act. The big question remains: Will they return to NY City? The comedy was directed by Eric Darnell and Conrad Vernon and written by Noah Baumbach.
